Are the indicators underneath each standard meant to be taught individually and/or in order?

The Indiana Academic Standards for Science is not a checklist of information to be taught in order. Also, in most cases, indicators should not be taught in isolation. One well-designed lesson could target a variety of indicators, possibly from several standards.
