No, not at all. The IGI attachments offer several major advantages over Litho PerfTM or Litho ScoreTM. First, the IGI attachments mount on the blanket cylinder, not the impression cylinder, and therefore the perforation and score lines can be raised or lowered to the exact location on the sheet you desire, by simply using the image “raise/lower” control knob of the press. Second, it is physically impossible to ever get a wavy or crooked perforation or score. Third, the actual quality of the perforation or score is far superior.
