Are the guest teachers certified to teach in the U.S.?
The teachers in our Program all have teaching certificates in China issued by the Ministry of Education and have been interviewed on their pedagogy and experience. They are not necessarily certified in the United States. This Program does not provide certification services because certification requirements and procedures vary from state to state. However, the College Board can assist the host institution with the process by collecting teacher credentials and/or any other required documents. Host institutions are responsible for the costs associated with such procedures.
