Are the grades weighted in Honors courses?
The grading depends on the course and the professor’s preferences, but in some Honors courses the average grades are slightly higher than in regular courses since the professors tend to account for the skill of the students. Consequently, the grades in some Honors courses are above the normal bell-shaped distribution. Grades in Honors courses are not weighted differently when figuring GPA.
