Are the Gibson Les Paul guitars in Argos real?

I know the guitars you mean,i think they are baldwin, who are owned by the Gibson company, they also own Epiphone,(just like Fender guitars own Squire). If you are playing the guitar long term then you should always buy the best guitar you can afford,if you’ve got say around £200 to spend you can get an Epiphone les paul custom 2nd hand, which are good,if you can afford £250 then go for a Greco or Orville 2nd hand, both very good guitars that will hold their own with a Gibson les paul, always look in the small ads like loot etc, buying 2nd hand means you won’t ever loose money when selling, you can pick up a Gibson les paul standard for about £850.
