Are the funding cycles based on a calendar or financial year?
The Caring for our Country business plans will be developed for each financial year and the first business plan has been developed for the 2009-10 financial year. Many issues including climatic factors clearly influence the timing and subsequent roll-out of funded projects. The development of business plans for forthcoming financial years means that these factors can be predicted and accommodated in the development and roll-out of proposals. Subsequent business plans will be released around September each year.
