Are The Fundamental Rights Guaranteed In The US Constitution?
Like the Constitution of other countries as England and Pakistan, the American Constitution also guarantees to its people a large number of basic rights. The Congress cannot make such law by which any religion come into being, or it cannot make any law which prohibit the free exercise thereof. The people are guaranteed the freedom of speech and press. No person can be hanged for treason without trial. No person can be arrested or detained arbitrarily. Except in the case of rebel or war, the writ of Habeas Corpus cannot be refused. Every accused can demand that he must be given fair trial. He can appoint a consul for his defence. Excessive bails cannot be demanded from any person. No person can be refused from casting the vote on the basis, of race, color, sex or previous conditions of slavery. Full freedom of personal movements and choice of profession is guaranteed to the people. The private property of any person cannot be snatched away by the Government without paying a just compens
