According to reports from Clearwisdom.net, over the past five years plus persecution of Falun Gong, more than 1,000 practitioners have been tortured to death. Tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are still being held in prisons, forced labour camps and brainwashing centres where they are subjected to torture.
