Are the FACIT questionnaires appropriate for use with people other than cancer patients?
Yes. The FACT-G (the general version), created specifically for cancer patients, has been validated in HIV disease, multiple sclerosis, and even the general population (with minor modifications). Other FACIT questionnaires have to varying degrees been tested in different groups, so it is best to ask on a scale-by-scale basis.
