IIT JEE is a now an objective test and a student who performs well in this test is given an entrance in esteemed IITs. Student should get 60% in STD XIIth to be eligible for taking IIT JEE. It’s a myth that students having above 90% in boards will do well at JEE. IIT JEE tests the fundamentals and concepts and application of these in problem solving. So percentages in boards do not really matter.
