Are the distributions/earnings in A-REIT guaranteed?
Unlike bonds, A-REIT earnings or distributions are not guaranteed. However, the yield for A-REIT as at 31 March 2005 was 10.9% based on the initial public offering price of S$0.88 per Unit; and 5.1% based on the 31 March 2005 closing price of S$1.88, which compares favourably with other investment products in the market.
