Are the data formats different between GCOS and Command Console Software?

All files produced from Command Console Software use new file formats and are not directly compatible with GCOS or academic analysis packages that accept only GCOS CEL files. All GeneChip-compatible software packages support both GCOS and Command Console file formats. Data Exchange Console (DEC) is used to convert between the formats. Extensive testing has been performed to ensure full data preservation during conversion.
