No. Competitors are allowed to join, but they are assigned separate Councils so that members can have confidential conversations, free from competitors, on their own Councils. What does it mean that the Councils are “vendor-free”? Council members have set a strict policy that new members must come from operating companies. No consultancies, advertising agencies, research firms or vendors that sell directly to the members may join.
