Are the conservatives really going to cut inheritance tax for the mega-rich?

Inheritance tax is wrong because that money has already been taxed. It’s unfair to the poor who receive a small inheritance from a relative and don’t get to keep the money their kin fairly earned and already paid for.

*sigh* for the one millionth time………… The Conservatives ARE NOT CUTTING INHERITANCE TAX FOR THE RICH, but their desperate washed up opponents are trying to spin it so people think they are in the hope that’ll throw a spanner in the works and put people off voting for them. They ARE however, nudging up the threshold at which you have to cough-up 40% inheritance tax because the current threshold at which you pay is (or was) set at £325,000 and based on house prices in 1991. As a result of this, and because of house prices booming because of this current Labour lot letting them get out of control, a lot of Working-Class and Middle-Class families have been getting smacked in the face with eye-watering 40% tax bills (regardless of whether they could afford to pay it or not) when one of their older relatives pegged it and left them a house they’ve owned and paid taxes on for years (bought many years ago when prices were low), and since rocketed in value past the £325,000 threshold.
