Are the combs comfortable? Will they lose teeth or break?
A. We are comb connoisseurs and extremely proud of the lightweight yet uber strong design. Most women report they cannot feel the combs at all, just the snug, comfortable hold of the bands stretching between the combs. Francesca specifically chose a strong, flexible metal wire as the result of years of experience working with (and wearing) plastic combs. Plastic breaks and shatters, no matter how strong it is. She wanted something superior, to withstand the rigors of a real woman’s life. It had to be able to be wedged into a purse, diaperbag, backpack or glove compartment, while being able to spring back to life if it were run over by a bicycle, stroller, or RV.
