They could be. It matters they way the colors are going to overlay each other, Lets say you paint your room Hot Pink, and the furniture accents are Turquoise, or vice-versa! Now if you have a wall Hot Pink and the other wall Turquoise, with the furniture and accents the same colors, it will look horrible, as with any color combo. When designing, First pick how may “Base’s” or colors your going to have, Lets say you have two *EXAMPLE* -Hot Pink -Turquoise Now for each color a scheme, like furniture, rugs, accents (candles, picture frames etc…), Lightin fixtures pick a -single- color to go with it. *EXAMPLE* -Walls, Hot Pink -Accents, Turquoise You could add many more just make sure you design with a soul, don’t make everything blend in, it will look dull, boring, and “flavorless” like everything white. WHAT NOT TO DO *EXAMPLE* Right Wall – Pink Back Wall – Turquoise Accents – Pink Furniture – Turquoise You can see were i am going here don’t do that, with any color combo! – Arteom Anyt
