Are the coffee berries used in SoZo organic?

0

The coffeeberry® in SoZo® comes from the mountains in southern Mexico. While these berries are not certified organic, no chemicals that we know of are used in the growing of our crops.

0

Organic Certification where our coffee is grown will not allow you to put nitrogen back into the soil. Nitrogen is present in all healthy rain forest environments. Commercial farming strips out nitrogen along with other needed nutrients. Our plantation and raw material suppliers feel that we must maintain healthy rainforest environments and healthy Coffee plants. Nitrogen is important to this process. No pesticides are used on the Coffee plants that are used for Coffeeberry® production.
