Are the circlular spraying water sprinklers better than the back and forth spraying sprinklers?
With the back and forth type, you can adjust the width of the spraying area, so you can have a variety of patterns from a narrow rectangle to a wide one. Also, if spraying an area bigger than the sprayer’s maximum coverage, you can carefully move it on so the next area butts up to the first one neatly, thus saving water, which isn’t possible with a circular spray. However, I do agree with the person who said you should try not to use them at all, or as little as possible, by sowing the seed when warm conditions and rain are expected.
