Definitely not! Just ask the British Dental Association, Rugby Football League Association, British Boxing council, English Hockey Association, Rugby Football Union just to name a few. They emphatically recommend a custom fitted gumshield should be part of your sports kit. Boil & Bite gumshields should be avoided. They offer very low quality protection, they are ill fitting, can easily be dislodged and could present a choking hazard.
