Are the character in Duplicity good, moral people?
They’re thieves and we’re rooting for them. Owen: I like them [laughs]. They’re not exactly murdering people so they could be worse. Owen: Yeah, I mean, look, the movie is about con artists. It’s about people who do that thing well. That’s what the movie is about. It’s not about right and wrong really. Can you compare the British acting scene and how you’ve come on the American acting scene? Are you happy with all of that? Owen: For sure, yeah. Really, as I’ve said before, success is about the opportunity to work with the best people and I feel like I’ve been given that opportunity recently. I don’t really compartmentalize in that way. Very often I’m asked about British films and American films and independent films and studio films. I think the whole thing is mulch. I don’t know what’s a British film anymore.
