Are the Bronze Sold Secure bike locks reliable and hard to break into?
If someone wants your bike badly enough, they’ll get it no matter how you lock it. When my bike was stolen, they cut through the padlock on the shed door, and 2 locks on the bike, one of which was higher than the bronze standard. It was a shielded cable lock, designed to withstand bolt cutters. It didn’t. They left the cheaper bike, so they knew what they were looking for, and came equipped to cut through a good lock. Buy the best you can afford, and remember to use it. I went to a police auction of recovered, but unidentified, property, and loads of the bikes had locks either wrapped around the seat posts, or clamped to carrying brackets. No lock will help if you don’t use it. Hope this helps.
