No! We consider ourselves primarily a “Web publisher.” While printouts are necessary for reading and studying from, we feel that the on-line nature of our books provides an invaluable experience. In particular, the links to locations within and outside chapters, the on-line quizzing system, and the ability to search for key words and phrases are features that can only be experienced “on-line.” Furthermore, the printouts make references to web sites, and many end of chapter problems require the student to browse through sites listed at the end of every chapter. Obviously, these references are meaningless in a stand alone hard copy.
