Are the Boise State Broncos worthy of playing in the BCS National Championship?
Consider this: since the 2002 season, the Broncos have won seven Western Athletic Conference (WAC) championships, five of which were consecutive 2002 to 2006. Furthermore, during the 2006-2007 season, the Broncos were a perfect 13–0, winning the WAC Championship and capping off the season with an overtime thrilling win in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl against the Oklahoma Sooners. Also, last year during the 2009-2010 season, the Broncos went a perfect 14-0 (the first team ever to win 14 games in a season), and topped off the season by beating the Texas Christian University (TCU) Horned Frogs to win their second Fiesta Bowl within three years. For the 2010-2011 season, the Broncos have 20 returning starters. According to ESPN, the Associated Press ranked the Broncos as the third best team in the top 25 poll rankings for college football.
