Are The Big Boys Running Scared Of Google?
As each week passes we seem to hear about Google moving into other areas of the technology market, whether this is Skype, Storage capacity or mobile phone networks, the list seems to be endless. However we have heard very little from their major competitors such as MSN and Yahoo! over the last few weeks, so are they running scared or are they planning a major coup? Even though Google believe that they can venture out into new and exciting markets as time goes by, there are many in the industry who is concerned that they may end up spreading themselves too thinly and ultimately leave the door open for the likes of MSN and Yahoo! to hit their markets. Rather than shouting about their plans form the roof tops there is speculation that behind the scenes MSN and Yahoo! are hatching plans – whether this is together of separately is not clear yet – to attack the search engine market with renewed vigour.
