Are the bass clarinet notes same as clarinet?
Mostly. Once you get into the altissimo register (notes above the high C above the staff), the fingerings will slightly alter. Also, there is an extra right pinky key so that you can play down to low Eb (a half-step and an octave lower than the Bb Clarinet). Professional Bass Clarinets will have keys (for the right and left pinky, as well as right thumb) that lets you go down to low C.
