Are the audiobooks/eBooks encrypted or DRM-protected?

0

No. We do not use encryption or Digital Rights Management. As you have the right to create backup copies on CD and as digital content can always be converted to analogue and back, it is always possible for dishonest and unscrupulous persons to thwart DRM. However, we feel that if we offer good quality content at a fair price, with almost all the money going to the writer or creator of the work, then most people will be honest in order to be fair to the writer. Also, while we check the files we sell for viruses and Trojans, we cannot vouch for pirate copies of audiobooks or eBooks that we sell. In other words, in return for a low, reasonable and fair price – the lion’s share of which goes straight to the author – we give the customer the peace of mind of knowing that (s)he is getting a safe download.
