I really don’t think so. I am in the trade union and I have had no ANL literature or any emails from my union regarding such things, and I would drop my union membership like a brick if I thought it was being anti-democratic. Just because someone is a union member does not automatically make them a socialist or some underlying ANL member. I joined my union because of bullying from upper management at work and it certainly wasn’t to back the Labour or communist party, I am also a UKIP member and that doesn’t make me a fascist either, though you could describe me as being right of the centre of politics..
