Are the African American Cultural Center (AACC) and Women’s Center (WC) being demolished for a parking garage?
No. Under the current Master Plan, the AACC and WC will remain, as they appear today, in their current location with no demolition or building modifications if the Centers do not opt to be incorporated into the new parking structure (Center Expansion Project). The new, larger Centers will be located in their original footprint on the first floor of the new parking garage.
