Are the Adaptec 2930CU SCSI cards fully supported by Mac OS X?

Yes, the Adaptec 2930CU cards we currently sell are fully compatible with Mac OS X. The only limitation that the cards have is that they will not deep sleep when installed (some PCI cards have a firmware incompatibility that causes this). However, you may be able to get an updated ROM directly from Adaptec. As the cards we have for sale were produced under contract by Adaptec for Apple Computer, Adaptec is not obligated to provide this update. You may try contacting them about it, but Other World Computing makes no guarantee that the upgrade will be made available to you. For more information about this ROM upgrade, please see this page on Adaptec’s site.
