Are the active elements of the Pool Wizard safe?
Yes, absolutely. The elements present no health risks even at higher levels than those released by the Pool Wizard. The EPA allows up to 0.1 ppm of silver, 1.3 ppm of copper and 5.0ppm of zinc in drinking water. With the Pool Wizard installed, the water contains only a fraction of these limits. In other words, a glass of drinking water can contain more copper, silver and zinc than a glass of pool water. To ingest the amount of copper present in a single multivitamin tablet, you would need to drink at least 4 litres of pool water.
