Are the acetylation reagents from the Biotrak cAMP EIA kit compatible with use of the lysis reagents?

0

A. The use of our Direct Assay Technology’s lysis reagents in combination with the acetylation reagents has not been validated in the Biotrak cAMP EIA assay kit . However, the acetylation of samples in the presence of lysis reagent has been validated with the Biotrak cGMP EIA kit (RPN226), which suggests the acetylation reagents and lysis reagents are indeed compatible. Our technical support staff have adapted the RPN225 acetylation protocols 3 & 4 (intracellular and total cellular cAMP) to include usage of the lysis reagents. Tests using the standard curve indicate the modified protocols should work fine. These protocols are provided below for your consideration. Disclaimer: These modified protocols are provided for GUIDANCE only and have not been validated by GE Healthcare’s quality control labs, and therefore we can make no guarantees regarding assay performance, and by no means can we guarantee the procedure is fully correct.
