Are the 64 Bit build environments still pre-release?

No. The 64-bit build environments are not pre-release. This is a known issue. When you run the custom install and select the build environments individually – the set-up screen incorrectly displays the description of “*pre-release*. This is not correct. Once installed your build environment short-cut will not be labeled pre-release. This a full retail release as per the EULA.
