Are the 3D environments, including buildings and vehicles, interactive?
Can they be destroyed? Eric: There is a level of destructibility, but it isn’t on every object in the game. Obviously, character entities can be destroyed. Buildings can be blown up — quite a few actually. Some other environment objects like bridges can be destroyed, and large carrier ships will be destructible as well. IGN: How difficult has it been to develop Robotech for three systems simultaneously? Eric: Besides working on all three consoles at once and dealing with their different limitations such as memory and graphic output, I would say that fitting our control scheme onto all three controllers may have been the most difficult task to date.
