Are tetra cartons recycled as cardboard or plastic?
It’s dependent upon who deals with your waste disposal. At home in PA, I cannot recycle TetraPaks at all, but here at school in NY, we put them in the commingled recycling with plastic and aluminum. Check your local recycling guidelines or ask a waste management person at your university, and be sure to rinse the cartons out before recycling them!
