Are testing requirements for newly constructed wells the same as the requirements mandated in the PWTA?

0

The Hunterdon County Department of Health certifies all newly constructed wells in the county. Certifications dated after September 14, 2002, must meet the same testing parameters as those stated in the PWTA. In cases where samples do not meet NJ Drinking Water standards, treatment units must be installed to bring samples into compliance. In each case, a resample must be submitted to the Hunterdon County Department of Health to prove the standards are now met.
