Are test question pools in Eduspace dynamic, meaning every student taking the test gets different questions?
What kind of test students take is completely up to the instructor. Instructors can choose a pre-made test or a group of questions from a pool and have every student taking the test work with the same questions. Or they can choose to select a “random block” of questions from a pool (each student taking the test will get a different set of randomly selected questions from the pool). For example, an instructor may create a test that includes a random block of 5 questions from pool A and a random block of 5 questions from pool B. Depending on how many questions there are in pools A and B, it is conceivable that students taking this test would all receive different questions. Additionally, the instructor can choose to scramble the order of questions within a test, regardless of whether it is constructed from question pools. When HMCo provides pre-made tests from question pools, we have created the tests using random blocks.
