No, not in the context that you have asked the question. Charts, admiralty notices to mariners and the VHF are your sources of updates for safe navigation. When using Tele-Pilots in conjunction with your navigation you must use current/updated charts. On the inside of every Tele-Pilot information sleeve, there is a space for your own notable corrections to be entered. Some major corrections may have already been entered into this space. Video, chart and Almanac checking is a very helpful exercise when passage planning.
