Are teams more suited particular types of writing, such as comedy?

All the same rules of individual writing apply to teams. I currently represent a team that does horror, a team that does action/adventure, two teams that do drama, and a comedy writing team. With some teams, one writer is better at dialogue and one writer is better at structure, so that’s why they get together. Another team–they write everything together. They sit in one room, talk about every line, every word, every summary, and until they both agree, it doesn’t get on the page. Other teams–one guy will write the first draft and the other will do the rewrite, and they go back and forth. Every team works differently and a team can be in every genre. The same is true in television. There are multiple teams that are successful in television and they take the same route to success that individuals take; they just do everything together. Q: How is a team paid? As one person, or two? A: They are paid as one writer. Q: Where do you find new talent? A: In general, it’s through referral. Eve
