One criticism of the CSMPs, especially in years past, was that they attracted and served a disproportionate number of teachers from suburban school systems. And as noted earlier in the report, the 850 public schools where they teach appear to be representative of the state s schools overall in terms of community location and student ethnicity. Also, sites have different beliefs and strategies in terms of working with individuals and with teams.
