I would recommend that you travel by train from Delhi to see the Taj Mahal. Take the Shatabdi (train number 2002) that leaves Delhi station at 6:15 am and arrives in Agra at 8:07 am. The cost of a first class ticket on this train each way is Indian Rupees 760 only and the price includes breakfast. All Shatabdi trains are air conditioned. On arrival at Agra station you will find a taxi stand as you walk out of the station.
