Are tattooists able to do really tiny lettering?
Some artists will use needles specifically needed for very tiny work, others will not. They generally cannot do very fine precision work with standard liner needle configurations. Look at Anil Gupta’s miniature work for evidence of what can be accomplished on a small scale. You simply need the right artist. http://anilgupta.com/portfolio/portfolio… This tiny stuff cannot be exposed to the sun or it will turn to a blob, since you already said it would be in a discreet place, that should not be a problem. I have some of the tiniest little lines on a tattoo that never sees the light of day and after 20 years it is still pristine.
