Are Tapers dripless?
Our tapers are produced to be as dripless as a candle can be. Always trim the taper wick to one-eighth to one-quarter inch before lighting. This will reduce the chances of your candle dripping. The outside coating is slightly harder than the wax on the inside. While the candle is burning, this outer shell produces a barrier to dripping in most situations. Exposing the taper to significant drafts and heat sources or not placing the candle perfectly straight in the holder may weaken the outer shell. If the outer shell weakens, dripping could occur.
