Are Swedes cold or anti-social people?
In general, no. Any reputation Swedes may have for being cold probably comes from their reserved behavior in public life. People in Sweden tend to conduct themselves in a very conservative manner in public and generally try not to draw attention to themselves. In more personal settings, however, things tend towards quite the opposite. Swedes are often very warm, direct and humorous people once you get to know them.
