Are submissions required in order to be ranked?
No, Chambers research is based on market feedback and no firm will be ranked on the basis of a submission alone. However, submissions are important in giving us background information to our research. While we will automatically consider any firms or attorneys ranked in the current edition, we still highly value submissions from them (see above, Why Submissions?). Submissions are also essential where firms wish to be considered in a state/practice area for the first time.
