Are study halls guided? Do they teach skills?
A. Study halls are not structured nor do they teach any study skills. Study halls provide time in the day for students to work on homework, visit the library, work in the computer lab, or just to have some down time. Study halls designed for students on individualized education plans usually are guided and provide structured instruction. Some students also use their study hall time to frequent the learning lab where they are able to get assistance with homework.
