Pearce & Pearce, Inc. will offer three student health insurance plans: Mandatory Graduate Plan Mandatory Undergraduate Plan Voluntary Plan Students who are required to have health insurance will be billed each semester in the mandatory plan. Students may request to waive out of the mandatory plans if they can demonstrate that they have a qualifying policy through a spouse or other source. The policy must meet the minimum required benefits for UGA Students required to have health insurance. Before requesting to waive out of the mandatory plans, students are urged to determine if their insurance plan considers the UGA Health Center to be “in-network” status and that the deductible is waived if treatment is rendered at the UGA Health Center. To request the waiver, go to the Pearce & Pearce W eb site, click on “Waive online ” in the index, and provide the necessary information. Waivers must be requested on-line by the stated deadline each semester. Pearce & Pearce will process the request
