Are students subject to SDSMTs Intellectual Property Policy?
Yes. If any intellectual property is conceived or developed by a student during the performance of any assigned research work, title to the intellectual property resides with SDSMT. Title to Scholarly Works resides with the student. Student inventors enjoy the same rights and benefits as do faculty and staff inventors.
