Are students required to purchase their own laptop computers?
Yes. Much of the classroom work comprises PowerPoint presentations and Web-based testing. And a lot of our communication is done on the Internetthrough e-mail, the PA Programs website, and the web-based Blackboard Program. JCHS has a purchase plan with Dell for our students, and students are STRONGLY urged to use this plan. Otherwise, they are responsible for any maintenance that may be needed.
