Are students required to live aboard the ship during port calls?

The Scholar Ship is home to students for the entire semester, whether at sea or when in port. Students are not required to stay aboard the ship while in port, but are welcome to do so. Dining service continues uninterrupted the entire semester, providing three meals each day. Please note that some shore excursions and academic field programs require overnight stays in pre-arranged accommodations outside the port region.
