Are students required to count their OLE hours?
A15: Schools are responsible for arranging the time allocation and learning content of OLE, students are not required to count their OLE hours or arrange their own OLEs. They are not required to submit the OLE hours. Schools are responsible for offering sufficient learning opportunities (15% curriculum) for students. Most of the OLEs are conducted in timetabled lessons (such as PE lessons, Music lessons, Class teacher periods and Assembly). Some schools offer OLE programmes for the whole schools. They would also offer enrichments, such as in the form of ECA, for students options. Students could make choices according to their interests.
